We naturally start our lives navigating through the lens of our own desires. High aspirations cause us to set goals and take inspired actions. We harness the things we’ve learned in the past and look forward to gaining new skills as we venture into an exciting new journey.
As we work towards the goals that lead to a dream life, we feel an undercurrent of Truth waiting for the right moment to emerge into consciousness. Our daily tasks help build our muscle as we await the Divine assignment. When the True assignment is revealed, it is often not what we expected.
The gravity of the True assignment returns us to the roots of our original desires for a meaning-filled life. Perhaps our vision came from the desire for wholeness. Maybe we wanted to share our story with others as a beacon of light. Maybe we simply want to make things better. But somehow we find ourselves in unfamiliar territory that looks nothing like the path of our previous design.
The Universe has a way of tying our desires together with more meaning than we could imagine within our limited range of understanding. Deep levels of healing travel through us to bring healing to a lineage of negative, thoughtless behaviors. Though the revealed assignment does not serve our original vision, it does provide the opportunity to reach the core of humanity during a time of great transition. It allows us to answer those who want help even when clear language is trapped behind walls of deeply rooted fear.
Those called by Truth keep a pliable heart to the will of higher purpose. We accept our assignments and use their ingredients to create something beautifully sustainable. We create the blueprint to a new and inclusive way of living that supports the weakest among us. It becomes clear that the life of our desires must pivot and blend into the will of overall good.
The duration of our pivot is a time for diving even deeper into our self-developed wellness to create inspiration that will reach the most micro calls for transformation. Compassion colors our existence in the grace needed to become more of ourselves, more of who we are meant to be. We are flexible and resilient, recognizing our plans as necessary stepping stones to lift us to the height of the greater initiative.
When the real assignment is revealed, we have the wisdom to answer the call. The real assignment may not be glamorous. It may not bring appreciation, notoriety or financial gain. The struggle may deepen, and it will surely challenge us to live out the things we say be believe. This awareness gives the opportunity to choose each day who we want to be and how we want to show up in the world, regardless of whether there is a reward on the other side.
