Welcome Back

I can’t tell you how many times I have started and stopped different projects. If I had to guess, I would say- a lot.

I started my original blog back in 2018, but now it’s gone. I can’t really remember what happened, but I do remember it had some really great thoughts and ideas. So I will take this opportunity to say thank you to that old blog. I start this new one in memory of you.

Healing

My journaling theme for this month (July 2024) is healing, so I allow the Spirit to lead me down whichever path of my life is in need. I was surprised to hear that my first focus is to heal my relationships with myself. My original blog (Essential Her) is one of those relationships.

Looking back, I can see her goodness, but at the time I was too focused on trying to use her to make money. As hard as I’ve tried, I have not been able to revive all that she was. I can however remember what it felt like to be a part of creating something so unique that it changed my life forever.

Gratitude

Not long ago, one of my children said something that has been re-ringing in my ears for weeks now. He said “Everyone deserves a second chance”. Although I have heard this many times before, it sounded fresh and clear coming from him. I am grateful that I can capture the essence of Essential Her, her format, her intention, her grace. Thank you for my second chance.

For those who will stumble upon this writing, I love that you are here. Maybe you need a second chance too. Your second chance may even need a second chance- trust me I get it. I have figuratively been around the world in the years since I started my original blog and started a business on every corner. Somehow I ended up back in this spot, doing what I love the most, no matter what happens. Thank you, with love.
